Product Overview

The KQS-RS1 Droplet-Sensing Rain Sensor adopts an innovative droplet-sensing design concept. Inside, a special structure precisely controls raindrop size, and optical sensing is used to count raindrops, thereby measuring rainfall intensity. Unlike traditional tipping-bucket, pressure-type, or optical rain sensors, it combines the advantages of all three principles while overcoming their disadvantages, achieving both compact size and accurate measurement.

Widely used in smart agriculture, meteorological environmental protection, smart irrigation, maritime navigation, automatic weather stations, and geological disaster monitoring.
