Sensor ISC40
There are two basic sensor styles used for measuring conductivity: Contacting and Inductive (Toroidal, Electrodeless). The ISC40 Inductive Conductivity Sensor features sensing elements (electrode coils) that do not contact the process directly. These matched coils are encapsulated in PEEK or Teflon, protecting them from process effects.
The ISC40 has a single cell factor covering nearly the entire conductivity measurement range (50-2,000,000 µS/cm), with reduced accuracy below 50 µS/cm. This virtually maintenance-free sensor offers exceptional durability in harsh industrial conditions.
The sensor features erosion/abrasion-resistant PEEK with excellent chemical resistance, except for fluoric acid or oxidizing concentrated acids. For these applications, PFA (Teflon) versions are available.
ISC40FF/ISC40FS/ISC40FD Holders: Flow fittings for in-line or direct mounting with various construction materials for optimal process compatibility.
Model PR10 Retractable "Hot-Tap" Holder: Enables sensor removal without process interruption, suitable for pressures up to 5 bar (72 psi).
